Hi Joanne! Just wanted to write to let you know how in love I am with this Morgan mare. I’ve named her Imogene and she has fit in seamlessly. She is a very subtle and gentle leader to the paint horse out in the pasture. I am so much enjoying getting getting to know her personality and discovering she is such a people loving horse! She trots up to the gate every time she sees someone coming and stands quietly for a scratch. Riding her is great too! She’s smooth and quick on transitions to trot and canter and she is making great progress each day on downward transitions. She’s happy to work in my round pen and comes right up to me to be haltered – no grain needed! I could go on and on! Thank you for being sure I got the perfect horse for me and for all the very important horsemanship lessons along the way!

Just wanted to give you an update on My Sweet Klover (Clover to us). She continues to be the most wonderful horse! We are so enjoying her – she is steady, kind, easy to deal with and everyone who meets her loves her.
We mostly walk, trot and some cantoring … and do trail rides – she loves to be out front, but then she realizes she is leading the pack and wants to get back in the middle again – she is so funny!! I work with a nice young trainer weekly and she says she would make a wonderful English horse since she is so flat kneed and has a wonderful floaty trott … but, we prefer to just hack around and she is the best horse we have ever had!!
She will be 5 this April and has really filled out quite a bit all around. She is one lovely mare! I will send some pics of her when I have time to give her a good bath and show you how nice she is.

I bought a horse from Joanne and after a month decided she wasn’t for me. They kept their word and gave me a full refund. Joanne is a fair, honest and more than competent horse trainer with years of experience in dealing with a multitude of horse related issues. Horses cannot be a job description, but are a way of life in which the handler needs to be more than capable meeting the encompassing demands of safety and utmost care. Joanne has boarded my horses, transported horses at half-way points, trained my horses, and I have purchased horses from her. I have spent time with Joanne in the middle of her work, on weekend trail rides, and through multiple communications via phone and internet. If at any point I needed assistance, I would not hesitate in asking Joanne to give my horses the care they would need during transport. I am more of a “the horse is my pet” owner versus a “horse is just a horse”, so if I am confident and trusting in Joanne’s care, it speaks volumes as I hold higher standards of treatment for my horses than the majority of the public.

Thought I’d write to let you know that we moved from Georgia to Colorado and took the two horse we bought from you with us. We wouldn’t part with them for anything. The grand kids have become good riders over the past couple of years and both horses have taken care of them. I had Joanne pick up my two year old because she hadn’t been taught to lead. After 10 minutes, she had her on her trailer – amazing!! I showed up 3 weeks later to see my girl being cantered around in an open field with ease. She looked like she had a year of riding on her! I ended up buying one of her trained horses for my child to ride and she has taken care of her just the way I was told she would. I now am enjoying riding my own horse and the one we bought from Joanne. She not only took the time to be patient with my horse, but taught me so much. The three horses I’ve owned were purchased from Joanne and they have all been wonderful. Joanne trained them and thier off-spring. Willi Johnk has hauled horses for me numerous times. I would not look to anyone but the Johnks, they have been very reliable. I would only board my horses with the Johnks because I trust their ability in horses and I greatly respect them. They have been my mentors in learning about keeping horses and I have nothing but the greatest respect for them and their abilities.
